Network Reader (RX1310)

Wavetrend’s RX1310 is an Active RFID Reader that supports connection to host computers via wired Ethernet or Wi-Fi connections. The Ethernet interface supports POE providing convenient implementation.

The RX1310 is intended for use in systems that track tagged assets such as containers, plant and machinery or high value assets. In addition, it is used for monitoring personnel in health and safety and security applications.

Tag data and Reader status information is communicated to application software enabling complete management of all tagged assets and the automation of business decisions about them based on accurate and real-time knowledge of their location.

Wavetrend’s RX1310 Reader:
• Detects and decodes RFID signals from all of Wavetrend’s range of Active RFID Tags.
• Sends decoded Tag and associated metadata to a host computer via Ethernet, Wi-Fi or USB interfaces.
• Can be dynamically configured via Ethernet,  Wi-Fi or USB interfaces.
• Can be powered by POE, directly via USB, or external power when using Wi-Fi.
• Supports a range of different Antennas, from directly connected to cabled options.
• Can detect Wavetrend Active RFID Tags up to 150m, subject to the appropriate Antenna being fitted to the unit.
• Has 2 x NO/NC relays that can be triggered by a variety of configurable events for detection of single Tags or groups of Tags.
• Has an enhanced Tag buffer and a clock for timestamping Tag reads.
