Water Temperature Monitor – Sigfox

Wavetrend’s Water Temperature Monitor is a smart device designed to assist organisations in control of premises meet their statutory requirements to provide healthy water. The device offers a cost-effective and attractive alternative to traditional inspection visits by providing daily reports over a service life of approximately 5 years.

The device helps mitigate the risk of legionella in water systems by actively monitoring hot and cold outflow for the conditions that can lead to spread of the bacterium.

A full picture of each monitoring point is given by communicating consolidated measurements to the cloud on a regular basis using the Sigfox LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network). Additionally, alerts can be generated (such as freeze or scald) and are notified immediately on detection.
